I went from a KIA eNiro to a Tesla Model Y to the Ariya (I've of course has had gas and diesel cars in the past too) - The Ariya is the most comfortable car I've had for a good while, if not ever - it's really nice, quiet and comfortable for long rides, love it!

Love the EV6 which is why I bought one. I do find myself wondering what I’ll buy next and the answer might just be the Gt version. It’s disappointing that the seat adjustment is manual. Excellent review, very comprehensive. Is the GT getting a facelift for 2025?

I really like this EV. I hope Polestar gets some more sales traction in the United States because the companies product pipeline seems plump with winners. Pricing to borrow a cliche "is what it is" and unfortunately most buyers are simply priced out of the new EV SUV market currently. Thanks for the thorough (and thoroughly positive) review of P3! Centre screen blocks the middle air vents when it's in landscape mode, or the tray underneath and front visibility in portrait mode. Either way - it's too big.

Have come to this review a bit late but interested as our 2020 e-208 is now 3.5 years old. Been brilliant so far. Fun and fast enough and plenty of gadgets (GT model). Interested in the updated version. This review was excellent and comprehensive. Hugely disappointing that after this length of time Peugeot have hardly improved it all. Battery just a tiny bit bigger, no frunk, no underfloor storage etc. And charging WAY MORE ££ for it. You are the only reviewer who has picked up on the 2-3" dead travel at the top brake pedal, and even this has not been improved !!

How far can I expect to go on a single charge with this new battery over all seasons?

I wish you could import this car to the United States because I would love to purchase one from you. I have always loved roadsters, having owned two MG-MIDGET'S and one Triumph Spitfire over 50 years ago. Of course, I purchased all three cars brand new. I am unable to build a kit car and love the fact that your cars are brand new builds from the ground up. Have you thought about doing MG-MIDGET's and MGB's from the ground up in electric versions?

Have Renault UK sorted out the "alarm" problems on this model yet? I might change over to an electric car in 2025 and I was considering the Renault but, no way if the alarm is going to keep going-off.

A three year service package on the Ioniq is still not going to bring the price up to the Genesis and it still looks better

Just ordered mine, so many bad reviews of this car, I almost didnt bother trying it! So glad I did, yes its not super exciting, but that interior, the build quality, equipment level and its not trying to look like a star ship lol Did the test drive, gave them my money. I have a lot of time for your reviews and this one has been so honest and correct compared to some who really hosed down this Honda. Thank You!!!

Certainly better than any Tesla , I think there is still a way to go yet for EV's but this shows they are getting there , give it a few more years yet I'll stick to my Merc Estate td for now .We are dog owners why the high rear sill in all these cars

Certainly, as a value proposition the SQ8 misses the mark...badly. However the styling changes of the S-model and especially the 22-inch wheel upgrade with the "Black" package make for a much better looking Audi, to my eye. The gentle "refresh" isn't really much more than a warming up the leftovers and I think the significant price jump is dubious, perhaps, just following the market trends. The EV market is moving so fast perhaps the mid-cycle refreshes (and even the new model cycles) need to be shortened a bit across the board. Maybe more significant yearly changes are the future.

Would love this but it’s still far more than I could afford it’s practically a years wage before tax. I still can’t justify a new car, especially with the cost of living having gone up significantly. I have more important things to pay for like a mortgage and food for my family. Most EV’s are still far too expensive at least the pricing is going in the right direction. Hopefully the prices will come down much further over the next few years and this will filter through to the used market. Glad it has rear wiper, but would love to have seen an option for 800v architecture for charging, at least it’s an improvement over the Niro’s charging speed. Anyway if I win the lottery or have some other good fortune I would love a car like this.

Maybe you can convince KIA to address the random keyless door button issue. It's been a problem since at least 2017 across all models. It's driving me NUTS, yet the dealership will not admit to a seven year defect. I keep bringing it in and they blame me for not pushing hard enough or long enough as if I'd never had keyless entry in my life. This is supposedly a small issue, but it's really, really, frustrating and will cause me to look elsewhere if they continue to kick the can down the road.

I have been running the Renault for the last year. I’ve done approximately 8000 miles in it. It’s going back today, I agree with most of what you said, certainly in terms of the build refinement and so on. However, if you were a 6 foot or more, this car isn’t for you. first, I cannot physically fit in the back. Especially if there is someone fairly large in the front. I didn’t realise how limited the back seat space is, it’s far less than the ID3 for example. In the front, if I have to move the seat forward which I inevitably do even if small people are in the back, my knees are jammed up against the, wireless charging pad which sticks out just the wrong height. I also find that I keep cracking my head on the door all the top of the door frame when I get in and out of the car. I’m totally blind which may not help this, however, I don’t have this problem on, other similar size cars. Hopefully we’ve solved the problems that we had, as we are getting an ionic five instead. I wouldn’t compare the two, as they’re totally different types of vehicle but… I do agree with you very much about the range, throughout the year we probably average around 210 miles.certainly nothing like what was advertised. Incidentally, we had exactly the same car as you did, both trim and colour. we didn’t bother to look at them again scenic,

I am picking up my new ioniq five today. I chose the ultimate addition with the optional tech pack. It came in at just under £50,000. I bought the rear wheel drive model with the large battery. When you compare that to the genesis, to me there’s no argument, the ioniq five is much better value. We had a quick look at the Kia EB six, but we didn’t like the closed feeling of the cabin and that it was much lower to get in and out of. Sounds really boring I know, but as an older gentleman, with really dodgy knees, not to mention my wife’s back that was quite important.

Really nice all rounder. Kia are smashing it.

I have a Solterra and am impressed with its on and off road capabilities. I Prior to purchasing it I was aware of the range efficiency issue compared to others. However, when being critical of this you should mention that performance deficit is inevitable when designing a vehicle with higher ground clearance than the competition alongside permanent 4WD. In my view this tips the balance when attempting to make direct reasoned comparisons. Essentially I feel matching range and efficiency to be an unreasonable expectation when better ground clearance and off road ability were a key element in the design brief

Thank you. I have a 2019 M3 AWD LR, and I don't want to go back to Tesla anymore. I need something more comfortable with the same or more power than my M3. The problem is my wife will not use this power and will use it like a normal car probaly in eco mode, it needs to be comfortable. So, I don't know if it's more comfortable than my M3. My Tesla is completely paid off, so I will exchange it and have a lower payment on this one.

It is very difficult to hear the statement" Save the Planet" and give any weight to what is presented as a performance car review. This is a car review. Electric cars are the same along the emission lines so Saving the Planet has nothing to do with this car. Here in the U.S.A. no one is going to buy it any way.
